You can define security measures for your users, which they must comply with when logging in. Thus, you can specify the security of the use of your onboard.
2-step login (2-factor authentication)
2-step login is an additional security measure to protect user accounts. In addition to the password, a one-time password must be entered when logging in, which is sent to the smartphone.
Logout automatically
You can define how long a user may be logged into onboard before being automatically logged out.
For example, if this duration is set to 1 year, with the individual duration determined during setup, this means that users will be automatically logged out of onboard after 1 year and will have to log in again with their password.
Until this is the case, the user remains logged in continuously, even if the window is closed or the computer is shut down.
It is possible to set shorter or longer periods.
Password safety
To guarantee secure passwords, you can set various rules that your users must follow when creating a password:
- Minimum lenght: define how many characters must be included in the password (e.g. at least 12)
- The password must contain at least one digit
- The password must contain at least one special character
- The password must contain at least one capital letter
- The password must contain at least one lower case letter
