File upload in onboard

Files from candidates and employees are stored in onboard. Here is an overview of how these files are stored.

Data storage

Amazon AWS S3 is used for data storage. The files are encrypted and stored privately (not publicly accessible).

File verifications

The following checks are performed during file uploads.

File size

Only documents with a maximum file size of 100 MB are accepted.

File type

Only the following file types are allowed:

General file types

  • text files (PDF, TXT)
  • image files (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF)
  • archives (ZIP, RAR, tar, gzip)
  • audio files (MP3, MPEG, WAV, ogg)
  • video files (WebM, MPEG4, 3GPP, MOV, AVI, MPEGPS, WMV, FLV, ogg)

Microsoft documents

  • Excel (.XLS und .XLSX)
  • Word (.DOC und .DOCX)
  • PowerPoint (.PPT und .PPTX)

Apple documents

  • documents (.pages, .numbers)

Open Office documents

  • documents (.odt)

The files are not opened by the system and scanned for viruses. Therefore, we recommend that you do not unpack any suspicious archives.

Spam protection

To prevent spam files from being sent to you, it is necessary for candidates to solve a security code verification (captcha) when uploading data.
